Handcrafted Wines & Heritage Breads from the Heart of the Valley
Nestled in a restored 19th-century estate, we cultivate award-winning varietals and bake artisan loaves using century-old techniques. Taste the history.
A Historic Estate Revived
Twitchell Garden Kitchen and Winery sits on the grounds of a historic 1825 homestead in Hartland, Vermont. What began as a family farm has blossomed into a sanctuary for culinary artistry and viticulture.
Our philosophy is rooted in patience and provenance. We source local ingredients, ferment our own grapes, and bake our breads slowly—respecting the traditions that make every loaf and every bottle distinct.

Our kitchen operates on a schedule that honors the dough. We bake sourdoughs, focaccias, and pastries every morning using locally milled flour and natural starters.
Beyond the bakery, our market section features locally sourced cheeses, preserves, and pantry staples—perfect for a Hartland picnic or a gift from the valley.
